How do I get involved?

There are a lot of ways.

Talk to your neighbors about the Census.

There is a lot of misinformation and suspicion of the Census. And a lot of people don’t even know about it! Sharing the information on this website with your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors can ensure that everyone in Fayette County is counted. This complete count brings your Federal tax dollars back home to Lexington.

Talk to Fayette County’s Complete Count Committee about getting involved.

Communities around the country are assembling Complete Count Committees (CCCs) to make certain everyone is counted. Fayette County’s main CCC is being organized by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, but anyone can start one. Reach out to Census organizers or the main CCC to get involved in ensuring a complete count.
